Pync, Inc. ("Pync", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Pync smart pet collar platform, including the Pync mobile application (the "App") and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our App and Services.
By using our App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

- Pet profile information: your pet’s name, species, breed, age, weight, health conditions, and neutered/spayed status
- Payment information: billing address and payment card details (processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store your full card number)
- Communications: messages you send to our support team

- GPS location data: real-time and historical location coordinates of your pet
- Activity and health data: step counts, distance, sleep patterns, and movement data from the collar
- Device information: collar serial number, firmware version, battery level, and connectivity status
- App usage data: device type, operating system, app version, and crash logs
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain GPS tracking, activity monitoring, and other App features
- Process account registration and subscription purchases
- Send service notifications, billing confirmations, and subscription reminders
- Improve and develop our products and services using aggregated, anonymized data
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
- Detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized access, and security incidents
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations

We do not sell your personal information. We share your data only in the following circumstances:

- Health insights and derived metrics: 36 months
- Billing and transaction records: 7 years (required for tax and legal compliance)

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
7. Children's Privacy
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at support@pync.com and we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date above. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
