Pync is building a preventive intelligence platform for pet wellness — helping pet parents understand their pets earlier, before small changes become serious problems.
At the center of the platform is the Pync Smart Collar, a wearable device that continuously learns each pet’s unique behavior. By analyzing patterns in movement, sleep, and daily activity, Pync detects meaningful changes each behavior’s baseline and translates them into simple insights for pet parents.
Instead of relying only on visible symptoms or occasional vet visits, Pync enables a new approach to pet care — one that focuses on continuous awareness and early understanding.
Why We Started
Pync began with a personal experience.
In 2024, while our CEO Claire moved to New York to study, her cat ‘Chelsea’ back home was fighting a serious heart condition. Being thousands of miles away, she realized how difficult it was to truly know how her pet was doing.
There was no technology that could help her understand subtle behavioral changes or stay connected to her pet’s wellbeing in real time.
That moment led to a simple but powerful question:
Why is it so hard to understand what our pets are going through — especially when we’re not there?
The answer led to a deeper insight:
pets communicate through behavior. Changes in their daily patterns — movement, sleep, and activity — are often the earliest signals that something might be wrong.
Pync was created and dedicated to make those signals visible.
