Responsibilities:

  • Annotate sensor and video data with accurate behavioral and activity labels
  • Follow annotation guidelines consistently to ensure high-quality training data
  • Flag ambiguous or edge-case data for review
  • Collaborate with the AI/ML team to refine labeling criteria over time
  • Meet accuracy and throughput benchmarks

We’re looking for:

  • Strong familiarity with dog behavior — professional or personal experience welcome
  • Detail-oriented with high consistency across repetitive tasks
  • Comfortable working with annotation tools and structured guidelines
  • Reliable and self-managed in a remote, async environment
  • Background in veterinary care, animal training, or shelter work is a plus
