What does the Pync Smart Collar do?

The Pync Smart Collar is an intelligent wearable for dogs that combines real-time GPS location tracking, health and activity monitoring, and safety alerts — all managed from the Pync app on your smartphone.
What pets is the Pync collar designed for?

Pync is designed for dogs of all sizes. Please refer to our size guide to find the right fit for your dog. Cat support is planned for the future but is not currently available.
What's in the box?

Your Pync Smart Collar package includes the tracker, a collar band in your selected size, the Pync Hub, 2 batteries (including one complimentary extra battery), a charging cable, and a quick-start guide. Everything you need to get started.
How do I clean the Pync collar?

Wipe the collar module gently with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used. Always ensure the charging contacts are clean and dry before charging.

Getting Started and Setup

How do I set up my Pync collar?

Download the Pync app on your iOS or Android device, create an account, and follow the in-app setup wizard. You'll be prompted to pair your collar, select a subscription plan, and create your dog's profile. The whole process takes just a few minutes.
Does the Pync collar require a subscription to work?

A subscription is required to access GPS tracking, LTE connection,, health monitoring, and most core features. Without an active subscription, the collar's functionality will be limited. A 30-days free trial is included with every new collar purchase.

GPS Tracking and Location

How far can I track my dog with Pync?

There is no range limit. As long as your dog is in an area with GPS and cellular coverage and the smart collar device is on connection, you can track them from anywhere — even if you're far from home.

Battery and Charging

How long does the battery last?

Battery life depends on usage, signal conditions, and how often Live Tracking is activated. According to the battery specifications, the battery can last up to 90 hours (3.75 days) when the collar remains within range of Pync Hub. However, to account for differences in real-world usage and avoid overpromising, we recommend communicating an expected battery life of approximately 2 days before charging is needed.
How do I charge the Pync collar?

Attach the detachable battery to the proprietary Pync Hub. The hub is powered via USB-C, and the battery typically reaches a full charge within a few hours.
Will I get a notification when the battery is low?

Yes. The Pync app will send you a push notification when your collar's battery reaches a low level, giving you time to charge before it runs out.

Design and Durability

Is the Pync collar waterproof?

The Pync battery and tracker are rated IP67 water resistant, designed to withstand rain, puddles, splashes, and everyday outdoor exposure.

If the device gets wet, simply wipe it clean and dry before continuing use or charging. Do not submerge the device in water. For cleaning, use a damp cloth only.
What sizes does the Pync collar come in?

Pync is available in multiple sizes to fit a wide range of dog breeds and neck sizes. Please refer to our size chart to find the most comfortable and secure fit for your dog.

Small

  • Neck: 10.6–11.8 in / 26.5–30 cm
  • Collar width:  0.75 in / 1.9 cm

* Note: Breed recommendations are based on average sizes, and individual dogs may vary. For the best fit, measure your dog’s neck (or current collar). Make sure you can fit two fingers comfortably between the collar and your dog’s neck for a secure and comfortable fit.
Can I use the Pync module on my dog's existing collar?

No. The Pync module is designed to work exclusively with Pync collar bands to ensure a secure fit, optimal performance, and accurate tracking.

App and Sharing

What can I do in the Pync app?

With the Pync app, you can track your dog’s real-time location, monitor activity and health insights, set up Safe Zones, turn on Lost Dog Mode, manage your account and subscription, and create a Pync avatar inspired by your real dog.
